Pacific Lumber Inspection Bureau provides inspection and grade stamping services to sawn lumber manufacturers and remanufacturers, as well as certification for heat treated (HT) lumber, ISPM 15 wood packaging, CE Marking, wood pellets (densified fuel), and California Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) registration. Services are also available on an as-needed basis to any interested party.
Our service region covers the Western U.S. and Canada and includes Alaska, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, and Alberta.
PLIB is accredited by both the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC) and the Canadian Lumber Standards Accreditation Board (CLSAB). PLIB also has several standing Memorandums of Understanding with the USDA Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and is recognized by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
